Nicotine salt liquids maintenance guide (2025) (v3)
Nicotine salt liquids advice for Liverpool, covering versus, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
We spent weeks putting nicotine salt liquids options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 30:70 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
There is no single best nicotine salt liquids for everyone in Liverpool, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
We would pair the Robust Pro with a 30:70 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
The Stealth Grey finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the Q-Plus takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For value hunters, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
Airflow control on the Robust Pro is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 120, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Liverpool, availability of the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips.
If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 30:70 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Liverpool shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current GBP rates rather than a fixed list price.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Grape Frost Breeze: sweet, fruity, described as dark grape with a cool, brisk finish. On a 30:70 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Liverpool
Availability in Liverpool is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.15 Ω dual mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
