Choosing Nicotine salt liquids: beginners edition
Nicotine salt liquids advice for Liverpool, covering versus, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Local availability in Liverpool shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Expect roughly 472 full puffs from a charge at 20 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.
We spent weeks putting nicotine salt liquids options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
Pricing in Liverpool shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current GBP rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the AEKU Slim is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 60, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
Expect roughly 472 full puffs from a charge at 20 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Delivery across Liverpool is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on AEKU Slim is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.
What surprised us most was how little the 0.6 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 20:80 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Deep Purple finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.
Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.
If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 20:80 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Liverpool shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current GBP rates rather than a fixed list price.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Coconut Pineapple: creamy, tropical, described as smooth coconut layered over pineapple. On a 20:80 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.6 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Liverpool
Availability in Liverpool is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.6 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
If any of the above addresses what you were trying to solve, the rest of the pages in this section cover it in more detail.
